"Dig man, the Hound!” That’s how George “Hound Dog” Lorenz opened his show, and now it rides on your back under a vintage microphone. A small Ol’ Hound Dog Club seal sits on the left chest.
The Buffalo DJ (1919 to 1972) was heard on WJJL, WKBW, WINE and WBLK, among other stations. In March 1957, People Today called him the “Grandaddy of Rock ‘n Roll.”
