The Hound on Wax Tee
A nod to the records the Hound spun for Buffalo. On the back, the Ol’ Hound Dog Club seal sits at the center of a record, with “The Hound’s Around” arched over the top. A small club seal sits on the left chest. A tribute to George “Hound Dog” Lorenz (1919 to 1972).
In March 1957, People Today called him the “Grandaddy of Rock ‘n Roll.” Over his career he was heard on WJJL, WKBW, WINE and WBLK, among other stations.
