In March 1957, People Today called Buffalo’s George “Hound Dog” Lorenz the “Grandaddy of Rock ‘n Roll.” This shirt prints that headline across the chest, spelled the way the magazine had it.
Lorenz (1919 to 1972) was heard on WJJL, WKBW, WINE and WBLK, among other stations.
